About RiverPark Place

RiverPark Place is part of Louisville’s Waterfront Park, an internationally recognized, award winning, master planned park. The master plan of the project calls for 2,500 residential units, 150-slip marina, 8 restaurants, a parking structure, 200,000-300,000 sf of office space, public plaza and public promenade.

In 2011, the public promenade connecting Waterfront Park to Eva Bandman Park and the 150-slip marina were completed. These improvements were the catalyst for the construction of the first residential buildings, Waterside East & West (327 upscale, apartment units) which were completed in 2015.

Because of our ideal location, residential activity has boomed and we are now underway with a 12,000 square feet restaurant and resort-style amenity area with two pools to serve our residents and boaters. Additionally we have finalized plans on the first condo tower, Edgewater West which features 85 units with stunning views, office/restaurant/retail space, roof-top pool and fitness room. We are now pre-selling the units of Edgewater with a projected ground-breaking in 2015. Read about our progress over the years in our press section.

The Location

RiverPark Place is located on the Ohio River, in downtown Louisville, KY and is a part of Waterfront Park. Waterfront Park has won national awards for its design and environmental practices. It’s also been named one of the Top Ten Urban parks in the nation by the Urban Land Institute. Most recently, Waterfront Park was presented with the very prestigious Rudy Bruner Silver Medal Award for “urban excellence.”

Waterfront Park is used for more than recreation – it’s home to some of the largest events in the Southeast beginning with Thunder over Louisville which opens up the Kentucky Derby Festival in April and is the largest firework display in the nation, a summer concert series, several festivals, charity events, and concerts including the nationally known Forecastle Music Festival. The park’s unique position within downtown, on the river brings hundreds of thousands of visitors to the park every year.

RiverPark Place is located within Waterfront Park and has added 3,500 feet of walking paths connecting Waterfront Park to Eva Bandman Park. Residents of RiverPark are able to walk/bike through Waterfront Park and into the heart of downtown and for that, the park is one of RiverPark’s prized amenities. Only RiverPark Place offers views of Waterfront Park and the serenity of the river.
